A few days ago, I posted about the first trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. Well now Warner Brothers has released a second trailer, as part of a Lego Harry Potter promotion. The first film, directed by David Yates, is due in theaters Nov. 19. Enjoy!

Not that I was planning to rush out to see it anyway, but for any who are, it seems Mike Meyer’s latest film, “The Love Guru“, is no Shrek! According to AintItCool.com :
“…Myers puts a shotgun in the mouth of comedy and kills it. This isn’t merely a bad film, but a painful experience that you keep telling yourself to leave. … It is a pregnant woman smoking a cigarette and drinking a Coors Light.”
I have to say, I’m actually not that surprised. When I saw Meyers on American Idol and the 2008 MTV Movies Awards, each time dressed as the “Guru,” I totally didn’t get the joke. I was hoping that the scripting for those spots was just rushed and that the film might actually have some merit. Guess not. Read the review for yourself, but as for me, I think I’ll pass. Oh yeah, and if you were thinking of seeing “The Happening“, seems like it isn’t much better (also panned in this review).
On a related note, to see an awesome super hero movie, go see “Iron Man” (and hopefully “The Dark Night”). To pretty good super hero movie, go see “The Incredible Hulk.”
The creative minds of George Lucas and LucasFilm Animation are at again with the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars series. The highly anticipated follow up series to the previously animated series, is now in a breath taking new computer generated animation format. According to StarWars.com, the series will start as a movie, hitting American theaters on August 15, followed by a Cartoon Network television series later that fall. It seems that the series will also later air on TNT. You can check out the TRAILER online for yourself. This should be good!
